Terms and Conditions

Purchase:

By purchasing this zine you are acknowledging that you: 

• are purchasing the zine for personal and not commercial use
• understand that this is a pre-order item, which means the final product is not yet in hand, and that shipping will not begin until June 2023 unless zine organizers update otherwise on Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram.

Customs and Taxes:

Buyers are responsible for customs and import taxes that may apply. Buyers acknowledge that New Beginings: A Codywan Zine organizers are not liable for any delays due to customs.

Shipping and Packaging:

PDF Download:

• A link to the PDF will be emailed to the email address provided with the order AFTER all the physical orders have been shipped
• Emails will come from [email protected]
• The PDF is for personal use only and not for distribution

Physical Zine:

• Physical zines will be inserted in self-sealing polybags and placed in bubble mailers with cardboard backing to ensure they are delivered in the best possible condition
• Due to uncertainties with carriers we cannot guarantee delivery dates, but domestic buyers will be able to track their orders through a provided link

Any production and shipping delays will be announced, and updated schedules will be posted on the New Beginings: A Codywan Zine Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram accounts. 

Replacements and Refunds:

New Beginings: A Codywan Zine will be responsible for replacing or refunding:

• Orders that are lost due to organizer negligence in labeling the package (e.g. address on label does not match address on order)
• Orders that are damaged or incorrect due to organizer negligence in packaging (e.g. package contents do not match order number, bubble wrap or cardboard back missing, zine damaged inside polybag)

New Beginings: A Codywan Zine will NOT be responsible for replacing or refunding:

• Orders that are lost due to incorrectly entered shipping addresses
• Orders that are shipped to an old address without notice from the buyer by May 1st 2023 (deadline may be pushed to a later date should shipping delays occur -- please follow Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram accounts for updates)
• Orders that are damaged during shipment or through shipping company negligence and mishandling (e.g. packages bent to fit in mailboxes, left out in the rain by carriers, other external damage to the packaging resulting in damages to the contents)

New Beginings: A Codywan Zine organizers reserve the right to cancel and/or refund orders should buyers violate any of these terms and conditions.
